Where it all began

A family business that grew into a global name.

1992 — Ankeveen,The Netherlands

Pos Service Holland (PSH) was founded in 1992 by Hans Pos Sr. as a family-owned business supplying high-quality starters, alternators and rotating electrical products. PSH quickly earned a reputation across Europe for technical expertise, reliability and outstanding customer service.

As demand grew, PSH expanded internationally and became one of Europe's most respected suppliers of rotating electrical components, supplying customers in more than 80 countries worldwide.

2007 — PSHSouth Africa

In 2007, PSH expanded into Southern Africa through the establishment of Pos Service Holland South Africa. Built on a long-standing relationship with the founders of PSH Netherlands, Harald van Haaster was appointed to lead and develop the Southern African operation.

Operating in partnership with the Dutch business, Harald was entrusted with building the PSH brand throughout Southern Africa while holding the exclusive distribution rights for the African market. As the business grew, Harald later became the sole owner of PSH South Africa, continuing to build the company into one of the region's leading suppliers.

    Hans Pos Sr. founds Pos Service Holland in Ankeveen as a family business focused on starters, alternators and rotating electrical products.
